Integrating Carrd with Buttondown

Carrd is a service that makes it easy to build single-page sites for anything you might want.

Carrd integrates with Buttondown. You can use a Carrd site to host a signup form that lets new people subscribe to your newsletter.

Prerequisites

To complete this process, you must have:

• A Carrd site on the Pro Standard plan or higher
• A Buttondown newsletter and its API key, which you can find on your API requests page

Add a signup form to your Carrd site

1. In Carrd, open your site and click Add Element.
2. Click Form to create a new form element.
3. Set Type to Signup, and then to Via Buttondown.
4. Paste your Buttondown API key into the API Key field.
5. (Optional) Click the Fields tab to rename the form's fields or turn them on and off.
6. (Optional) Click the Button tab to change the label of the button.
7. Save the form and publish your site.
