incident.io handles our incident management: status page, on-call paging, and Slack integration.
We don't have complex on-call needs — no rotation across a large team, no cross-team escalation policies. What we want is a clean status page and the ability to create and resolve incidents quickly, ideally with good Slack integration. incident.io does all of that well at $40/month.
Our checker framework automatically creates incidents in incident.io when high-priority failures are detected and resolves them when the underlying issue clears. Status page updates are synced daily and surfaced to users in the "What's Happening" feed inside the app.
Prior solutions
Better Stack
We used Better Stack for both observability and incident management from 2022 to 2026. Their incident management product worked fine but was less polished than the observability side, and the combined cost had crept up to $202/month (including Slack integration). We still use Better Stack for logging and telemetry dashboards — that part is great.
