Renamed two fields on subscribers

subscriber_type becomes type, and email becomes email_address

Breaking API change

This is a backwards-incompatible change to Buttondown's API. Pinning your newsletter or request to an older API version keeps the previous behavior where a version was cut for it.

Breaking change: we've renamed two fields on subscribers:

  • subscriber_type is now type
  • email is now email_address

The shape and mechanics of these fields have not changed, but the names are now more consistent with other API fields.

Buttondown is the last email platform you’ll switch to.
