Goto is a go-links service that lets our team create short, memorable URLs like go/docs or go/deploy that redirect to longer internal URLs.
We're on the free plan. The main value is reducing the friction of sharing and finding internal resources — instead of hunting for a bookmark or pasting a long URL into Slack, anyone on the team can type go/whatever into their browser and get where they need to go. The Chrome extension handles the redirect automatically.
We use go links for things like dashboards, runbooks, and frequently-referenced docs. It's one of those tools that's simple enough to not need much explanation but saves enough micro-friction across the team to be worth having.
