There’s something powerful about showing up for others—and even more powerful when we do it together.

This March 2026, we were honored to once again welcome a team of nursing students and faculty from Liberty University. Their visit is always a special one, and this year was no different.

At Happy Life Mission, education is more than a need — it is the pathway to purpose.

Since 2002, we have rescued over 1,060 abandoned and vulnerable children across Kenya. Many arrive with little to nothing — but here, they are given a name, a home, and the opportunity to build a future.

While we celebrate that many children are adopted or reunited with family, there are those who continue their journey with us. For these children, we remain committed to providing a holistic, quality Christian education — from elementary school all the way to tertiary levels.

At Happy Life Mission, every rescue tells a story of hope rising from hardship. In recent weeks, we have welcomed several new children into our care—each arriving from difficult circumstances, yet each carrying a future filled with promise.

Some were found abandoned. Others were rescued from unsafe environments. All arrived in need of protection, nourishment, and love.

Today, they are safe. They are receiving medical care, nutritious meals, and the comfort of gentle arms that reassure them they are no longer alone. Slowly, fear gives way to trust. Tears give way to smiles. And fragile beginnings grow into stories of healing and hope.

At Happy Life Mission, every season brings new beginnings — and this one has been filled with powerful milestones that reflect growth, courage, and the beauty of becoming.

This year, we celebrate the incredible transitions taking place in the lives of our children:

• Eight toddlers have moved from Roysambu and begun their journey into pre-school, marking their first steps into formal learning.

• Six young men and girls are courageously pioneering Grade 10, stepping into a new academic path.

• Six others are transitioning into Grade 7, entering a new chapter of responsibility, growth, and maturity.

As we step into 2026, we pause with deep gratitude to reflect on the many people who walked through the gates of Happy Life Mission in 2025—and the lasting impact they left behind.

Throughout the year, we were blessed to welcome mission teams and individuals from near and far, including Covenant Church, Reformation Presbyterian, and many others who chose to journey with us locally and internationally. Each visit brought encouragement, service, laughter, worship, and a reminder that Happy Life Mission is not walking this journey alone.

This Christmas season invites us to slow down and give thanks—for the lives touched, the progress made, and the community of friends and partners who make our work possible.

This has been a meaningful season—made possible by the unwavering commitment of friends and partners like you. Even in challenging economic times, your faithful support has helped sustain our work and bring care, stability, and joy to the children we serve.

We are overjoyed to announce the official opening of the Multipurpose Hall at Faith Premier High School – now named Tuckers Hall. What began as a groundbreaking ceremony just a year ago has now become a beautiful, modern facility that will serve as the center of student life.

We are truly blessed to have friends and partners who not only support the work we do at Happy Life Mission, but also cross borders to spend precious time with us.

Both locally and internationally, we are reminded that God has surrounded us with amazing people we can count on in times of need. Many of the children who come to us arrive without a name. At Happy Life Mission, we give them names, love them, and offer hope — a place to belong and call home.

Watching the boys and girls in our care grow - attending school, discovering their talents in art and sports - fills our hearts with joy. And few moments are as beautiful as seeing a child join their forever family through adoption.

Well, each day is filled with warmth, learning, laughter, and love—from morning routines to playful moments, learning sessions, and shared meals. It’s also a day full of hope, care, and transformation—all made possible by the unwavering love and support of our Directors, caregivers, volunteers, administrators, and the entire Happy Life family.

At Happy Life Mission, we believe in nurturing lives holistically - physically, emotionally, spiritually, and academically. Through the three pillars, Rescue, Education and Health, we are committed to creating opportunities that empower and uplift, not just the children who pass through our hands, but also, individuals and communities. Every story we share is a reflection of God’s faithfulness and the impact we can make when we come together in love and purpose.

At Jesse Kay College of Health Sciences, we're not just teaching medical skills - we're shaping lives. As the students enroll to learn on becoming Health Care Assistants, our mission is to equip them with knowledge and hands-on experience that empowers them to build a better future for themselves and serve their communities with confidence and compassion.

At Happy Life Mission, there’s never a dull moment—and we wouldn’t have it any other way! The joy, laughter, and energy that fill the home are a beautiful reflection of God’s goodness and the vibrant lives He’s shaping here each day.

Our children continue to thrive—not just academically, but in creativity, athletics, and community life. The soccer and pickleball teams have been actively training and participating in local matches, growing their skills, discipline, and team spirit. Whether it's performing on stage, competing in sports, or expressing themselves creatively, we love watching them shine!

What a powerful and hope-filled time it was when a medical team from Houston, led by Pastor Brian, visited Kenya and partnered with Jesse Kay Hospital to serve the local community. Their mission? To bring not just medical support—but healing, love, and spiritual encouragement to hundreds in need.

The team worked tirelessly, reaching people of all ages with professional care and compassionate hearts. Children, parents, and elderly members of the community were able to receive checkups, treatments, and most importantly, someone to listen, pray, and walk with them—if only for a moment—through life’s challenges.

There’s something truly beautiful about the bond that forms between a sponsor and a rescued child. Through the gift of sponsorship, lives are changed - not just the lives of the children, but those of the sponsors too.

One of the most heartwarming aspects of sponsorship is the personal connection it fosters. Sponsors have the opportunity to write letters to their sponsored children, offering words of encouragement, love, and hope. In return, children write back, sharing bits of their world, dreams, and gratitude. These letters create lasting relationships that transcend distance.

Sponsors also receive regular updates - photos, videos, and progress reports that show how their support and prayers are making a real difference. Watching a child grow, smile more confidently, and thrive in school brings so much joy and reassurance to those who give.
