Add metadata to your RSS feeds

March 1, 2025

RSS Feeds + Metadata = ❤️

RSS feeds are great, but sometimes you need a bit more context. Now you can add custom metadata to any RSS feed, and it'll be available in all your generated emails.

What's this all about?

  • You can now add key-value pairs to your RSS feeds
  • These values become available in the emails created from the RSS feed
  • There's a shiny (eh, somewhat) new UI for managing all this

It's perfect for when you're pulling in content from multiple places and need to keep track of where everything's coming from. Or maybe you just want to add some default values that your feed doesn't provide.

For example, you could tag feeds with categories, add source information, or include extra variables that make your templates more flexible.

Check it out in the RSS feed settings page next time you're setting up automated content.
