  • Saturday, June 13 (afternoon): Urban Sketching at CAM Raleigh with Scott Renk's CAM Raleigh USK group

Annual Events coming up

It looks like the next events will be in August so stay tuned next month...

New/changed meetups

Starting in the summer session, the Tuesday figure drawing classes at Durham Arts Council will switch to a Thursday guided studio practice instead. I do not know if this will be a permanent change. The session is currently full regardless. Open studio is still on Sundays.

Other announcements

  • I'm teaching at Durham Arts Council and currently have 2 spots open for Perspective Fundamentals for Urban & Landscape Art (single session, Friday 7/10) and several spots for Expressive Figures in Mixed Media (single session, Friday 8/7). Register with Durham Arts Council!
  • Fellow instructors, if you have a class related to live art (figure drawing, plein air, urban sketching, and similar), feel free to reply and let me know about it - I don't mind announcing them here. A tip on Ko-fi helps with the operating costs of the website and newsletter.
