Happy summer! Here's the July meetups and more...
This Month's Outdoor Meetups
We've had a bit of a switcheroo due to the July 4th holiday. I moved Durham Plein Air/USK to help assuage the pile up. :) We're also heavy on the western triangle this month.
- Saturday, July 11 (morning): Blackwood Farm Park in Hillsborough with Raleigh Outdoor Painting Group
- Saturday, July 11 (afternoon): Red Oak Brewery in Whitsett with the Mebane urban sketchers
- Saturday, June 11 (afternoon): Urban Sketching at CAM Raleigh with Scott Renk's CAM Raleigh USK group
- Saturday, July 18: Durham Farmer's Market with Durham Plein Air/Urban Sketching
- Saturday, July 25: Sarah P. Duke Gardens (Durham) with Raleigh Outdoor Painting Group

Annual Events coming up
The Blowing Rock Plein Air Festival is coming up in August. This year they had to switch to juried/lottery though due to popularity so I don't think you can register anymore.
New/changed meetups
No known changes this month. Keep me updated if you notice any needed changes on the website!
Other announcements
- Enrollment for the fall session at Durham Arts Council opens up on Friday, July 24 at 10am. Mark your calendars because a lot of classes and sessions (like figure drawing) fill up fast.
- I still have openings for Expressive Figures in Mixed Media (single session, Friday 8/7). Register with Durham Arts Council!
- I'm teaching again in the fall session for DAC - watercolor (6 sessions) and perspective fundamentals (1 session) plus a few more single-session workshops.
- Fellow instructors, if you have a class related to live art (figure drawing, plein air, urban sketching, and similar), feel free to reply and let me know about it - I don't mind announcing them here. A tip on Ko-fi helps with the operating costs of the website and newsletter.
