A summer love note + a few invitations
Hi friends! Happy Summer ☀️
So far my summer has looked like lots of time spent underneath a napping baby, lots of long walks wearing my weighted vest/snuggly Simon, lots of messes made around the house by my 11-year-old…and me doing my best to slow down, be present, and soak it all up.
Because truly, this is the life.
It’s not somewhere in the future. It’s not waiting for me after I achieve some kind of “success.” It’s right here—in the moments I’m bouncing a fussy infant, listening to my preteen tell a story that seems to have no end, while catching a playful glance from my husband.
Life is happening right here, and I don’t want to miss it.
This season has been reminding me so much of the power of slowing down and coming back to ourselves and the aliveness inside the moment.
Which is why I’m excited about my upcoming offerings…
Breath Workshop
A simple, experiential workshop for coming back to your breath in real life. We’ll gently notice the breath as it is—without forcing or changing it—and explore what it’s like to be with your body and nervous system in the present moment.

Virtual via Zoom
Sliding scale: $25–$35 (Standard rate: $30)
Fall Retreat
Sometimes we need to step away to come home.
This is a day to unplug, slow down, and reconnect—with ourselves, with nature, and with each other.
We’ll gather in the beauty of the North Georgia mountains with space for gentle movement, reflection, conversation, and simply being. There will be time to sit by the fire, spend time outdoors, join a waterfall hike, practice yoga, and explore what it means to be present for the life we’re already living.
I’ve been dreaming up this day for a while, and I cannot wait to gather.
Details:
Saturday, September 26, 2026
10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Near Helen, Georgia (just over an hour away from ATL)
Sliding scale: $250-$350 (Standard rate: $300)
Summer Reading List 🤓
Aside from family time, one of my favorite summer (and year-round!) activities is reading. Today I’m passing along a few books that speak to the theme of aliveness—of being present for this one precious life we get.
📚 The Midnight Library — Matt Haig
📚 Where’d You Park Your Spaceship — Rob Bell
📚 The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry — John Mark Comer
📚 Liturgy of the Ordinary — Tish Harrison Warren
📚 Under the Whispering Door — TJ Klune
And if you end up reading one, please hit me back with an email. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
