A small moment at church, and an updated hello
Hi friends,
Yesterday at church, I found myself sitting at a lunch table with a new family. I was asked how I got into the work I do—and how I found my way to this church.
What came out wasn’t just my story. It made me think about how many of us end up where we are through unexpected turns, quiet shifts, and moments we don’t always understand until later.
And I noticed something as I spoke—I felt more confident in expressing myself than I ever have. More steady in my body, my soul, and who I am becoming. Not because anything before wasn’t real, but because this particular moment felt especially grounded and important to acknowledge. It felt real in a way I wanted to honor, which is part of why I wanted to share an updated introduction of who I am right now.
Who I am right now:
I’m Georgia Lynn. I’m a Mom. Wife. Spiritual companion. Embodiment guide. Community builder. Cheerleader for the soul.
I hold spaces for people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and listen inward—especially in seasons that feel overwhelming, disconnected, or uncertain.
My own path into this work began in one of those seasons. I turned to my yoga practice for grounding, and in that stillness, something opened in me—a deep sense of presence and being held.
A simple message came through that stayed with me:
You’re safe. You’re loved. I’m always with you.
I didn’t suddenly have answers after that, but I did begin learning to listen differently—to life, to my body, and to the quiet ways guidance shows up.
Over time, I began teaching yoga and meditation, and eventually holding small circles for people who were also longing for connection—with themselves, with others, and with something larger than themselves.
Like many of us, my path unfolded through unexpected relationships and doors opening at just the right time.
One of those paths led me to the church next door to where I was teaching. I came with questions and hesitation, and I found, surprisingly, a sense of something familiar and steady there.
Something softened. Something opened. And I’m still learning from that.
Today, much of my work lives in spaces of embodiment, spiritual practice, and community. I host circles where people can come back into connection with themselves and with what they understand as Love, God, or the Sacred.
I also hold space at the church I now attend, which has become an unexpected place of grounding and ordinary holiness.
While I am a Christian, I also believe the Sacred meets us in many ways and names. What I care most about is not certainty, but sincerity—what brings us into greater presence and connection with life.
What feels most alive for me right now is creating spaces where we can continue listening for the Love that is reaching for us.
If anything in this resonates, I hope it feels like an invitation—not to believe anything, but simply to notice where the Sacred is meeting you in your own life, and who you are becoming.
With gratitude,
Georgia Lynn
