Hello again, and welcome back to another month of listening to things, hearing things, etc.

As I mentioned a few months back, I’ve made a choice over the past few years to de-emphasize the police scanner component of my shows, in favor of other audio sources like air-traffic control, field recordings, and marine or railroad radio. But sometimes I’ll just leave the second channel out entirely, and let the music speak for itself.

May’s NTS show is one of those times, and it’s a great month for music, with tracks from Warmth, loscil, Andrew Heath, and amazing collabs from projects like zakè / Spieth / Guentner, and Steve Roach & Serena Gabriel. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the vibes. Or feel free to mix in your own background audio as well. Personally, I’ve found it goes nicely with a long, boring Zoom call. Just don’t forget to pause if you have to unmute! 😅
