Delta Force's Season 11 Patch Notes Land: Sniper Movement Nerf, Operator Rover, and a Fishing Mode
Delta Force published the full Season 11 Reorientation patch notes on September 4, ahead of the update going live September 8 on PC, console, and mobile. The season adds support operator Rover, who deploys a military dog that hunts and marks enemies, plus the MDR rifle and Thompson SMG. In the extraction Operations mode, aiming a sniper rifle while moving now costs accuracy, and a new hip-fire crosshair can be customised and shared by a code. Layali Grove gets a map refresh.
Player impact: If you run snipers in Operations raids, you now have to hold still for shots, and Rover's dog makes solo pushes riskier. New guns mean a meta worth testing before the season settles in.

Hunt: Showdown Hides Every Extraction Point on the Map in Its September 8 Blood Testament Update
Crytek's Update 2.9 for Hunt: Showdown 1896 arrives September 8 with the Blood Testament event. All extraction points, supply points, and scout towers now start hidden on the map, revealed only by finding a Clue or a Scouting Map. The patch also adds a Fair Play Follow Up system that refunds Hunt Dollars, the in-game currency, when a death is confirmed to be a cheater's doing. Traits become saveable in loadouts and Hunter slots rise from 75 to 100.
Player impact: Extraction runs get tenser when you cannot see the exit until you earn the intel, so map knowledge and Clue routes matter more. The cheater refund is a rare studio admission that cheating costs players real progress.

Fortnite OG Season X Brings Back Dusty Depot and Rift Zones for a 92-Day Run
Fortnite OG, the permanent mode that replays remixed Chapter 1 content, started Season X, titled Out of Time, on September 3. The 92-day season restores the Dusty Depot landmark and brings back Rift Zones, the map-warping anomalies from the original Chapter 1. The OG Pass adds remixed skins including Ultima King, Oxide, and Catalyst. This runs separately from the main battle royale, which is on Chapter 7 Season 4, called Override.
Player impact: If you bounced off current Fortnite, OG Season X is the nostalgia hit that pulls old squads back, and 92 days is long enough to matter for your weekly rotation.

Star Wars Zero Company's First Patch Targets the Crashes Wrecking Launch Week
EA confirmed on September 3 that Star Wars Zero Company, the XCOM-style squad tactics game that launched to strong reviews the week before, will get its first post-launch patch the following week. The update targets bugs and performance, including crashes hitting some PC setups. EA's current workarounds point at old Nvidia drivers combined with DLSS upscaling, and at instability on some Intel 13th and 14th generation desktop CPUs.
Player impact: If crashes have wiped or blocked your permadeath campaign, the fix is about a week out. Until then, update your GPU driver and check your BIOS if you are on a recent Intel chip.

Nvidia's 616.86 Hotfix Cleans Up the Bugs Its 616.56 Driver Introduced
Nvidia released GeForce Hotfix driver 616.86 on September 5, built on the 616.64 Game Ready driver. It fixes three bugs, two of them introduced by the earlier 616.56 release: virtual displays failing to create, and black screens in Remote Desktop sessions. It also stops intermittent flickering in web browsers on some sites. The 8-bit monitor flickering that 616.56 caused is still not fixed.
Player impact: If you skipped the buggy 616.56 driver or hit black screens after updating, this hotfix is the one to grab. Anyone still seeing 8-bit monitor flicker has to keep waiting.
