Hello Walkspace members!

This is a members-only newsletter inviting you to our next online members’ Salon with artist adventurer Daniella Turbin.

Join us on Thursday 25th June at 7pm for an evening of conversation and adventure. We’ll also make space for some more casual social time for members to chat about anything of interest to the community. Been on any interesting walks lately? Got some work showing in an exhibition? Dying to ask someone about their practice? New to Walkspace and want to meet other members? Come along and share your company with us.

Daniella Turbin is an artist/adventurer/walker from the West Midlands. Her artistic practice combines long distance walking with photography, drawing and writing. In 2022 she embarked on her longest walk to date – a 5000 mile circular walk around the whole of Great Britain.

Setting off from and returning to her home in Walsall, Daniella planned a route that passed through every county and took around a year to complete. In this talk, Daniella will be reflecting on her walk and solo exhibition “A Place to Return To”.
