#2 A bundle of inspiration
As promised last time, here’s the full interview with Corentin Thomasset, the solo founder of Papra - the open-source document platform: https://greatlittle.software/blog/papra-open-source-document-management-platform/
It has been an absolute pleasure to write this piece and collaborate with Corentin. I admire his transparency, humour and integrity. On the latter, he spent some time to dig out the quote from twitter about “AI and laundry” so that I can give the credit to the original author.
In other news, I’ve been focusing on writing more than digging out solo development gems, but I do have a few leads on a good story and, as usual, I’ll share my sources with you.
First one is https://altstore.io/ - an EU alternative App Store, leveraging the win in the legal battle with Apple. I think it’s a great small source of indie apps, but also an opportunity to share your creations with less limitations (and fees).
And the second one, which I hope would bring us the best stories - is our newly created submission form: https://github.com/valeriavg/greatlittle.software/discussions/new?category=show-and-tell. As you can tell the link leads to our GitHub discussions where you’re also very welcome to flood share your thoughts and concerns.
This link, if you decide to share it with fellow solo founders and solo builders, is also available on the https://greatlittle.software website, along with some more information about the “why” behind it. I bet you wondered what's in it for me, didn’t you?
And if you don’t find the answer, don’t hesitate to reach out!
But most importantly, keep building.
/Valeria
