HBD, Type C!
Heeeeey, how y’all doin’?
I’m in the midst of a downward health spiral and haven’t felt capable of writing much over the last few weeks. I couldn’t even think of a witty subject line for this email; did I catch your eye anyway?
But this month Type C Creative turned five years old (!!!) and it would be a shame not to celebrate that.
Five years ago, I was living in my childhood bedroom during the pandemic after getting laid off from my corporate communications job. I had approximately three months of Virtual Assistance slash freelance project management under my belt when I decided to go out on my own.
Since then, I’ve
led workshops for (literally) hundreds of strangers on the internet
helped bring a countless amount of raw ideas to life/launch
changed my business model (and website lol) seemingly one million times. At one point in year 3 I tried pivoting to web design???
launched several of my own projects/offerings that I quit, or that failed (and hosted a lot of events where only 1-2 people showed up — shoutout to y’all)
“stepped back” at least twice to focus on full-time employment
built a business that is now (mostly) sustainable enough to do full-time
only been fired by one client (which I may write about one day ☕️)
moved four times (ironically, I’m back in my childhood bedroom getting ready for my fifth move in five years)
…and probably a lot of other cool stuff that I can’t remember because I rarely take the time to celebrate my wins!
Except I did find this cute list of accomplished goals in Notion that I didn’t make a habit of doing past year 2 of biz:

Despite the ups and downs, I am so fuggin fortunate to be able to do something I enjoy (and am good at) for the incredible people I get to do it for.
Especially in seasons like this, where I’m not feeling my best physically, it’s such a gift to be able to set my own pace.
What’s next?
First and foremost, another iron infusion lol. But after that, I’m excited to launch something I never thought I would: A group program. It’s called Nervous Systems.
I’m co-facilitating/creating it with my sister, who is a therapist and yoga instructor. It’ll incorporate somatics/nervous system regulation with systems building.
It’s a culmination of everything I’ve learned and taught over the past five years of running my own business as an uber sensitive, neurodivergent, and chronically ill girly.
I made it for the folks who continue to run into the same problems in their business: disorganization and disregulation, lack of structure and boundaries, a revolving door of overwhelm, burn out, crash outs, and resentment.
It’s the necessary (and often overlooked) foundational work folks need to create a business that actually works for them.
Nervous Systems is the first business idea I’ve let breathe before launching. I came up with the name almost a year ago and the concept has been slowly evolving ever since (emphasis on SLOW).
I’m excited to share more with you in the coming month. In the meantime, if you’d like to be added to the waitlist, let me know.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who continues to rock with me. There are folks who have been replying to my newsletters since the beginning, through every evolution, and I’m so grateful you’ve stuck around.
Happy Birthday, Type C!
Peace, love and workflows,
Andrea
P.S. I went into the archives and found the first newsletter I ever sent in August 2021. I am both cringing and laughing that I managed to sneak a Summer House reference in, because of course I did…
August 2, 2021
I launched a business since you last heard from me. It's called Type C Creative and has a, in the words of Stefani Germanotta, talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never-the-same, totally unique, completely-not-ever-been-done-before type of website. Check it out.
If working smarter not harder had a brand, it would be my beautiful newborn, Type C Creative. I help entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners streamline their processes so they can focus on what they do best. (#AD)
Now for some free shit…
Much like summer, processes should be fun! I have more pride in being organized and automated than I do being booked and busy because I believe life is about more than just work.
I created a Trello board of my personal self-care processes that is, dare I say, talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never-the-same, totally unique, completely-not-ever-been-done-before.
It's got playlists, templates, snack lists, and more! Take a freakin' look.
