This Week in Raycast — September 28 – October 4, 2026
Thirty new extensions this week, two of them for masking personal data before you paste it, plus an Adopt Apps command for Brew, Fill Login for Proton Pass, and Raycast 2.6's memory reductions.
Productivity
Aktar — by @merttopuz
A companion for Aktar, a free menu bar app that uploads files to your own S3-compatible storage (S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, MinIO and others) and copies a link. Upload the clipboard, the Finder selection, or a picked file, search past uploads, and browse buckets folder by folder with public or temporary links. Follow-up updates this week added watched folders, QR codes, renaming on upload, and a Delete After option of 1–30 days.
Fenn Search — by @thoddnn
Searches inside files indexed by Fenn, a paid Mac app: text visible in videos, words spoken in audio, and the content of PDFs, documents and Sketch files. Switch between keyword, exact, filename, semantic and hybrid modes, filter by file type, and open or reveal the original file.
Privacy Mask — by @snaka
Finds personal information in the selected text or the clipboard and masks it before it goes into Slack or an issue, entirely on the Mac. It focuses on Japanese text — names, addresses and My Numbers — using Apple's on-device frameworks and the open-source privmask package, and it says which checks could not run instead of returning a clean-looking result.
Caviarde — by @Gldywn
Mask and Paste replaces emails, phone numbers, IBANs, card numbers and secrets in the clipboard with numbered placeholders, then pastes. An optional detector, set up by the extension in a local container, adds names, places and organisations.
Env Keeper — by @MrMengJ
Manages every project's .env files and your shell exports and aliases from one place, with a snapshot before each write, diff and restore, generated .env.example files, and search across all projects. Secrets are masked in lists, and everything is stored locally.
Raccoon — by @thousandflowers
Gives 21 reports from the Raccoon macOS command-line toolkit a native Raycast screen: disk, memory, open ports, battery, Wi-Fi, SSH keys, certificates, startup items, PATH overlaps, Docker, Time Machine, a security audit, and more. Fixes run as confirmed actions, and nothing changes when a screen opens.
QR Code Sharing — by @francescopioparadiso
Saves the things you share often — an email address, a phone number, a link, a Wi-Fi password — and shows each as a QR code or barcode beside the list, so selecting an entry is enough to show someone the code. Nine code types are supported, and entries live in a plain CSV file.
Switcheroo — by @mitchelljphayes
Edits the configuration of Switcheroo, a keyboard-remapping daemon for macOS: modifier remaps, key swaps, conditional remaps, tap-hold keys and chords, plus restart and log commands.
OmniCast — by @imprisonedmind
Controls the OmniWM tiling window manager through omniwmctl: a searchable command palette plus direct commands for layout, moving and resizing columns and windows, scratchpads, and switching workspaces.
Windhawk — by @muhammadrizo-y
For Raycast on Windows: search, install, enable, disable and uninstall mods for Windhawk, the Windows customization tool, with each mod's README, changelog and source.
DevT Pro Tools — by @aadhil-kh
Searches the 120+ formatters, converters, encoders and validators in DevT Pro, an offline developer toolbox for macOS and Windows, and opens the chosen tool with your clipboard or typed text. The extension makes no network requests.
BetterShot — by @andylilfs0217
Seven commands for the BetterShot screenshot app: capture a region, the full screen or a window, scan text, pick a color, and open recording options or settings.
Wu — by @farshed
Opens recent projects, the Finder selection, settings and keymap in Wu, an open-source code editor forked from Zed.
CueNow — by @sworup-kumar
Searches note titles and bodies in CueNow, a free sticky-note app for macOS, and creates, hides or shows all notes.
MarkdownOS — by @azlandotgg
Searches and creates notes and manages bookmarks in MarkdownOS, a markdown note-taking app built with Glaze, including saving the current browser tab and a menu bar command.
Spotifast — by @Seigiard
Controls Spotifast, an open-source Spotify client, through its command-line interface, so no Spotify API credentials are needed: a menu bar player, playback and volume commands, likes, and switching Spotify Connect devices.
LokalBot — by @stevyhacker
Searches the titles and summaries of meetings recorded locally by LokalBot, copies matching snippets, and lists the 20 most recent captures. It reads LokalBot's library through its read-only CLI and makes no network requests.
Updates to existing productivity extensions:
- Brew: a new Adopt Apps command finds apps already installed that Homebrew has a cask for and hands them to Homebrew so they upgrade with everything else; a new Manage Taps command lists each tap's formulae and casks and adds or removes taps; and Remove Tap now uninstalls the tap's packages on every Homebrew version.
- Proton Pass: Fill Login (macOS) pastes the email or username and password into the app you came from; Search Items gains a details panel with live 2FA codes, a Suggested section for the active browser tab, and frecency ranking; and items load about 8× faster with many vaults.
- Google Chrome Profiles: optional preferences to sort profiles by last use, focus a profile on Enter, avoid duplicate windows, and return to root search, plus faster switching with many tabs open.
- Easy Dictionary: OCR Translate now works on Windows, and Favorite Words can be sent to Anki through AnkiConnect.
- Linak Desk Controller: talks to the desk directly over Bluetooth, so the Python controller and server mode are no longer needed; adds Raise, Lower and Stop commands and the desk height in the menu bar.

!w,!gmand!so, and custom engines can override built-in ones with the same trigger. - Mint: new Optimize Storage, Organize a Folder and Show Disk Growth commands, and a View Mac Status screen with disk and memory use.

- Apple Reminders: search covers completed reminders, and list and smart-view filters apply before the result limit.
- Music: library search ranks song titles first, and searches and playlists with quotes or backslashes work.
- Laravel Artisan: Windows support, and options and arguments are no longer swapped in command details.
- Browser Bookmarks: DuckDuckGo browser support on macOS.
- Browser Router: profile sorting by name, frequency, or a custom order.
- Diff Checker:
+/-markers with diff syntax highlighting. - Visual Studio Code: Antigravity IDE support and an option to open folders in a new terminal tab.
- Windows support: JetBrains Toolbox Recent Projects, Choose a License, Code Review Emoji Guide, and Are.na.
- Fixes: AeroSpace closes Raycast after window actions; Slack Status Quicklinks survive preset storage resets; LocalSend Discover Devices no longer crashes; Zoom stops listing recurring meetings twice; Set Audio Device finds devices with an apostrophe in their name; Obsidian Bookmarks Delete Bookmark works; QR Code Generator previews are no longer cropped; Coffee stops the menu bar icon flickering; Launchd Monitor shows a setup action when no job labels are set; BetterAudio Manage Apps no longer crashes when loaded from cache; Vim Leader Key shell commands stop printing
setlocalewarnings.

Looks up League of Legends players by Riot ID: ranked standing, recent games, and each game's KDA, damage and items for every player. Requires a Riot API key.
Music Recognizer — by @erenalpars
For Raycast on Windows: records a few seconds of system audio, identifies the song through AudD, and links to it on Spotify, YouTube Music and Apple Music. Matches are saved to a searchable history.
System Status
A Windows-only list of Wi-Fi, volume, battery, time and date.
Updates to existing extensions:
- Moodist: the full catalog of 89 ambient sounds replaces the 22 bundled ones, the sleep timer fires with Raycast closed, the menu bar can adjust the mix, and the extension now works on Intel Macs.
- Steam: game details load again, search runs from a local list of every Steam game, owned games show playtime, My Games has new sort options, and a View Similar Games action.
- Raycast Wallpaper: HEIC wallpapers are converted for Windows to prevent blank backgrounds, and failed automatic switches retry sooner.
- Rubiks Cube Timer: 2×2 scrambles with separate history and stats, and hidden timer and inspection options.
Wrappers for Other Services
phpIPAM — by @frdmn
phpIPAM is an open-source IP address management tool; this extension searches addresses, subnets, VLANs and VRFs across your instance, browses sections and subnets with usage statistics, and finds the next free IP in a subnet. All commands are read-only.
AbuseIPDB — by @gabrielbelli
A Raycast client for AbuseIPDB, the shared database of IP addresses reported for abuse. Check an address you type or one found in the clipboard, and see its confidence score, report count, ISP, Tor-exit status and recent reports. The free API key allows 1,000 checks a day.
Folio — by @ShayanAbedi
Connects Raycast to brokerages linked through SnapTrade, a service that aggregates accounts from Wealthsimple, Questrade, Interactive Brokers and others. It shows net worth, holdings, positions with open P&L, activity, and idle cash, plus a menu bar total with a privacy mode. Access is read-only.

Tinkerer Club — by @Olli0103
An unofficial client for members of the Tinkerer Club community, using its API and a member's API key: browse the feed, articles and shared prompts, and post, comment or react with confirmation for each write. A menu bar command shows recent items.

Clipboard History adds Paste as PNG for TIFF images, Root Search returns results for more settings such as Accessibility and Keyboard Shortcuts, Root Search number hotkeys accept the numpad, and keystrokes typed right after launching a command by hotkey are no longer lost.
