Roll, Cinnamon Bun Oversized

1. A culinary creation of astonishing depth, characterized by a warm spiral of dough that exceeds standard plate dimensions; esp. one observed astern, in raking light.

2. colloq. The gravitational center of any bakery display, defying shelving conventions with unapologetic bulk.

Etymology. From Old French 'cinnamome', meaning 'cinnamon', combined with 'roll', a Middle English term for 'rolled object'. Excessiveness, it seems, is baked right in.

The bakery unveiled a thiccc cinnamon roll, and the display case promptly recalibrated its supports.
