A moment when a character kept or broke their resolve?

Tiny was played by Jon in our Yellow King RPG campaign, Cassilda’s Song. Not yet released. Jon was playing in the Aftermath setting; see Day 3 for details.
In this particular setting, we had to define a Goal, a political goal for the group. The group decided on Get Tiny Elected! Tiny was a somewhat focused and brutal character, and as the setting progressed, his methods became more agricultural, wiping aside opponents or enemies with his gun.
In the penultimate scenario of this setting, a powerful patron insisted that a captured and surrendered enemy should be executed. Tiny stepped forward to do it. I had thought at this point that the player might waver, and definitely the player had many doubts and discussed it with the rest of the group, but in the end he believed this was the journey Tiny had to take, an unbroken resolve he then took forward to the election and his victory.
