The Record Weekly: Ducks, Deals, and Dedication

The Record Weekly: Ducks, Deals, and Dedication

Jun 28, 2026

Welcome to this week's issue of The Record! ๐ŸŒž

The big news this week was a report from the Norwood Hospital Task Force detailing just how bad the local healthcare systems has been hit since the hospital closed in 2020.

The Norwood Public Schools District Nutrition heads met with the School Committee, and members grilled the former about food waste.

And the Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club held its 24th annual Duck Race on the Charles River. The group provided family entertainment and food completely free for patrons.

Also in this issue, Andy Polvay shares his secrets of success that led him to 25 years at Domino's in South Norwood.

And sadly, Scottish visitors to the Town said goodbye to one of their own last week.

As always, thank you for reading.
