The Record Weekly: The Override Passes
The Record Weekly: The Override Passes
Jun 21, 2026
Welcome to this week's issue of The Record, the go-to source for all things Norwood! 🌞
The Public Safety Override - the subject of much debate, both online and offline, in the Town, passed with 59 percent of the votes this week.
The fifth annual Juneteenth celebration rocked the Common last week as well, bringing music, dancing and culture to Norwood 🎉.
Also in the good news corner, local students are receiving well-deserved recognition for their achievements at the Norwood Italian Lodge's Award Night and Baccalaureate Sunday ceremonies.
And we highlight some unexpected support structures provided by the Morrill Memorial Library Literacy Program, as detailed by the most recent Library Board of Trustees meeting.
We're so proud to share these stories and more in this issue! 📰
