Two Terrific Books and Fun in Groups
Hello, Hungry Readers,
I still have one more DC Food History class to go, and another classmate has already suggested we have to keep meeting up somehow. It’s so great when you join a group and the synergy is all there.
I have also joined the Mahjong trend. So I’m out there meeting people I do not work with, which is also nice.

I read Taylor Tomlinson’s Actually Nevermind which is about things she’s changed her mind on. It’s a darkly funny read, no surprise if you’re familiar with her comedy. But it’s also a look at how changing your mind on something can be good, actually.
L. C. Chu’s The Library of Flowers is a book I enjoyed and then as I was adding it to my reading tally, saw it was considered fantasy, and went, wait, what? Sure, the main character is from a long line of perfumers. Every five generations the eldest daughter is gifted with making perfume that helps people find true love. And sure they sometimes refer to themselves as witches. But to me it just seemed like a book about perfumers. If you read it, please email me and tell me what you think. Also, L. C. Chu also writes contemporary romance as Lily Chu. (Yes, the name change should have also clued me in.)
Happy reading!
