The Steps Collective is a group committed to sharing provocations which get people thinking, doing and making in the regenerative space. Taking the action which works for you is easier when you see and hear how others started.
Our Facilitating Officers are currently Dr. Rob Phillips, Lizzie Shupak, Andy Thornton, Emily Boxall and John V Willshire. Our intention is that this evolves however necessary.
We are helping people take their own first steps towards a regenerative future, not as experts or professionals but as parents, neighbours, colleagues and citizens.
Hearing from others on their own first steps becomes a vital part of this. We want to hear from people in the early stages of ideas and initiatives, alive to the unfolding experience around them, rather than a post-rationalised, mythic version of an older history. There is no right and wrong, just right now.
We are committing to hosting twelve sessions during 2024.
These can be talks, workshops, or other ways in which people can share experiences and discuss future possibilities.
Recordings of our sessions so far are here:
As we continue to discover more ideas, directions and opportunities to shape the next steps of this effort, we will capture activities in different ways.
Throughout 2024, we will create spaces in which to hold sessions in-person and online, facilitate conversations, bring together future speakers and invite participants.
