We made this with cinnamon, white sugar and crushed pecans as a test run, and the white sugar made it a little bit too sweet for my liking, BUT! My kid came home from a cottage weekend with their grandparents and LOVED it! We spent this afternoon making dark chocolate espresso and keylime and graham cracker variants of this for their 13th birthday tomorrow together, and we are all SUPER excited to try them both.

As a side note, I have been loving your comics about food since before my kid was even born, and was sad when I lost track of them/you took a break from them (I think?). It was a complete and random chance that I saw you link this post on bluesy, and I am so happy that this was the avenue in where I found my way back to your work!
