you're invited to explore The Garden!
hi folks!
after our first IRL Hang Out in Cardiff and chatting about wanting to leave instagram and better ways of sharing, (Swansea event coming up on the 24th October) I felt so inspired to work on my website!!
i’d created a dash in Notion a while back, experimenting with the idea of creating a part of my website based around the meta-framework of a garden, and i decided to just go for it and create it live on my website.
and so… the garden was planted!

the garden is a continually in-progress rhizome of ideas, practice, and life. it’s inspired by Kening Zhu’s idea of websites as worlds and it’s a space that will be continually added to, like a maze being forever built.
the space isn’t finished - it won’t ever be. but it’s live, it’s quietly public, and it’s me practicing anti-perfectionism. it’s the opposite of the idea that everything should be OPTIMISED and STREAMLINED and FINISHED. this is a space to get lost in, to wander down paths, to find bridges between things. it’s a space to hold the whole-ness of my creative practice - not just the finished, institution-backed pieces - but all of the offshoots and tendrils too.
I was going to create a menu here of what you can find in the garden, but I recommend you go and explore for yourself. new things are being added all the time at the moment (but like any garden expect periods of planting, and periods of resting). this garden is still in it’s infancy and i’m excited to see what grows.

if you’ve got any comments/ideas/questions about the garden, my website, my work, or you just want to say howdy! you can reply to this email and i’ll get back to you!
