"Chronology" has dropped, happy new album day

Today, September 18, 2026, we are immensely pleased to release our long-awaited fifth full-length studio release, “Chronology,” on La Reserve Records. It’s available on all digital download and streaming platforms as well as on CD, which you can order through our Bandcamp page or other online stores.

This one was a long time coming. I had originally hoped to do another album after some exciting tours that were planned for 2020… But then 2020 happened. It took all of us a while to rebuild our lives, and in the aftermath a lot of big stuff happened, including everyone in the band getting too busy for their own good! There were weddings, kids, and opportunities to work with huge artists. Some of us moved to a new continent (more than once). We were finally able to get a big chunk of the international Progger squad together at Church House Studios in Austin in October of 2025, and it was like very little time had passed. The hang and the music were immediate, strong, and deeply needed for all, I think.

Along with the digital and CD release of the full album, we’ve also put up a new video single: “Deacon” has been a live show favorite since even before the pandemic and we finally have a proper recording of it. It features some great improvising from Dayne, Matt, Daniel, and some saxophonist who just kinda wandered into the studio looking confused.

The Austin Live Music Fund helped make all this possible (community grants for the fine arts work, people!) and our friends at La Reserve Records have already helped us reach a lot of awesome new audiences. We hope you enjoy listening to this new music even a fraction as much as we enjoyed recording it!
