The First Episode of The Slow Season Podcast...

It’s (a)llliiiivvveeeee!!!

I am beyond excited to share the first episode of The Slow Season Podcast with you!

This episode introduces the concept Seasonal Living and easy ways you can incorporate seasonal living into your life. I also talk about how powerful it can be to align your life with your values and how those can coincide with living more slowly and thoughtfully.

In the 3rd section of the pod, I highlight celebrations of the Spring Equinox all over the globe so we can share a wider lens of what celebration can look like in large and small ways. I have already found some new and sacred ways to celebrate the turning of the seasons and I hope you can, too!

Next Episode is May 12th

May is Mental Health Month and that’s what I’ll focus on for the next episode 🧠

It drops on May 12th which is kind of soon, and the kittens are fighting a nasty eye infection so I’m cleaning them 3-4 times a day and I’m… tired. So this will be a mini episode!

Wait…Kittens? What are you on about?

TL;DR: Our feral stray, Lil Bit, had 5 kittens.

The long version: It’s been a busy spring season at our house. In February, we started caring for a stray and we realized she was pregnant.

In early April, Taylor rescued a 5 month old kitten from a rooftop. “We aren’t keeping him,” Catherine said sternly. Then, someone who shall remain nameless, and who just launched a podcast, got attached. His name is Rufus. He was beat up pretty bad, so we took him to the vet.

Here’s a pic when I was adamantly against him coming in the house:

Rufus is fully indoors now and has recovered from surgery!

The afternoon we brought Rufus back post surgery, Lil Bit had her kittens. Here’s a family photo:

The kittens have already doubled in size since I took this photo a week ago.
It’s been wild.

I feel like we are running a daycare.

Anyways, tune in May 12th for ways to ground yourself through all of life’s chaos!
