PPC Summer Finals Tonight!
Friends!
PPC Summer 2026 FINALS are happening TONIGHT at Barcade Fishtown.
This evening, we will once again convene on a Monday night at Barcade to play our hearts out until a champion is named.
Could it be you? Why not? All will be revealed in due time.
Sign-ups begin at 7:30pm, and we’ll meet out back at 7:45pm to go over the finals format and get everyone pointed in the right direction.
Please, for the love of the silver ball, Be On Time. Pinball tournaments have a remarkable ability to consume entire evenings, and we’d like to get underway as close to 8:00pm as possible.
FIRST THINGS FIRST
Get here early. Sign in. Get comfortable. Drink some water. Eat something. Stretch your pinball muscles. Pick a machine and stare at it like you have unfinished business.
You’re eligible for finals if:
You paid dues
You attended at least one week this season
That’s the list. If you qualify, congratulations: you may enter the arena.
FORMAT
Finals will be split into two divisions:
The top 16 players in the season standings will play in A Division.
Everyone else will play in B Division.
A Division will play 4 rounds of games. For each round, scoring is as follows:
First place - 3 points
Second place - 2 points
Third place - 1 point
Fourth place - 0 points
Rack up those points, because after the rounds are complete, the top 4 players will advance to a one-game final showdown for the PPC Champions Cup.
B Division will be playing a strikes format. Here’s how it works:
First place - 0 strikes
Second - Fourth place - 1 strike
Due to overwhelmingly positive feedback from last season’s finals, we’ll continue giving 1 strike (rather than 2 strikes) to those that place 4th in B Division games.
Three strikes and you’re out of the tournament — but absolutely not out of the action. Read on for more details.
The last player standing takes the B Division trophy!
PRIZES
There are many forms of victory in this world.
Sometimes you win a trophy.
Sometimes you win a medal.
Sometimes you walk away with an object that appears to have been pulled directly from someone's basement, attic, garage, or extremely specific collection.
That’s where the Community Prize Table comes in.
We want the weird stuff.
Handmade creations. Odd collectibles. Treasures you’ve been hanging onto for reasons you can’t quite articulate. Useful things. Useless things. Beautiful things. Horrifying things. (Halloween is upon us, after all)
If you have something that would make an excellent pinball prize, bring it.
The prize table does not judge.
The prize table simply waits.
DOOR PRIZES
All night long, any score that ends in 00 earns you a trip to the Door Prize table.
That’s right. Double zeroes = Immediate reward.
PRIMOS
The Primo Prize table is reserved for the truly ambitious.
Each game will have a designated objective. Complete one of those objectives and you earn access to the Primos.
The rare stuff.
The exclusive stuff.
The stuff you will absolutely mention to someone who asks what you won.
Primos are also happening all night long.
And remember: getting knocked out of the tournament does not mean your evening has come to an end.
Quite the opposite.
Now you have more time for primos, door prizes, community treasures, and acquiring increasingly inexplicable objects to bring home.
You may leave with a novelty mug, a vintage toy, some candy, and something that nobody can identify but everybody agrees is incredible.
That is the PPC way.
