A fresh season of Philly Pinball Club is kicking off, and we can’t think of a better way to spend a Monday night.

Join us tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Barcade Fishtown for the first night of the Summer 2026 season. Whether you’re coming back for another run, looking to climb the standings, trying a pinball league for the first time, or just need a fun excuse to get out of the house, we’ve got you covered.

The standings are reset. Everyone is tied for first. The machines are waiting. Let’s do this.

THE DETAILS

Sign-ups start at 7:30 p.m., and games begin at 8:00 p.m.

Look for the table with the red bird and gray plush cat, Pusheen, and sign up there!

We’ll play 4 games of pinball.

Dues are $20 for the season, but if you’re a newcomer, your first night is free!

FOR NEWCOMERS

No pinball experience necessary. Seriously!

If you have questions about a game, how league works, or what someone else is doing, just ask. Everyone is super chill and happy to share tips, tricks, and occasional emotional support after a brutal drain.

Sign up at the table and let us know you’re a first timer.

Someone will explain how the night works and introduce you to other new folks.

Shortly after 8:00 p.m., we’ll assign groups of 3–4 players. You’ll stay with that group for the whole night.

You’ll be grouped with people who have played before, and together you’ll play 4 games. Games are two-four tokens each.

After your games are finished, someone will submit your group’s score sheet to the table with the red bird and Pusheen.

Then we rinse and repeat next Monday.

Although you might be new to the league, you’ll be among friends in no time. And possibly among rivals.

HOW THE SEASON WORKS

Summer Season runs for 8 weeks, followed by Finals. (We will be off for Labor Day)

Each week, you’ll play 4 games and earn points toward the season standings. You do not need to attend every single week to participate, but the more you play, the more chances you have to build your score and make a run for finals. As always, your lowest two scores of the season will be dropped from the standings.

At the end of the regular season, we’ll hold Finals on September 28th.

The top 16 players in the standings will play in A Finals, and everyone else will play in B Finals. So no matter where you land, there’s something to play for.

BELLES AND CHIMES

Philly also has an inclusive women’s pinball league, Belles and Chimes, that meets at Barcade Fishtown the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Belles meets again Tuesday, August 11th.
