Split your sound, three new ways

The three new devices
FX Composites

openDAW just got a whole family of composite effects. They all follow the same idea, one device that holds several effect chains side by side, but each one splits your signal differently.

Layering

Run any number of effect chains in parallel and mix them back together. Put a reverb on one layer, a crushed delay on another, keep a dry layer underneath. It starts empty and passes audio through untouched, so you can drop it in anywhere and build up from there. Manual

Stereo Split

Left and right get their own effect chain. Widen a hi-hat by delaying only one side or saturate the left while filtering the right. Manual

Frequency Split

Split the signal into up to four frequency bands and process each on its own chain. Multiband compression, bass-only distortion, airy top-end chorus, infinite options to discover. Manual

Enjoy ❤️
