New sample collections from Loopmasters and ModeAudio
openDAW has two new sample collections. Loopmasters provided 180 drum loops in classic hip hop, drum and bass and house, each genre split into full drums, stripped drums, tops and percussion. ModeAudio provided 231 sounds, loops tagged with tempo and key covering bass, keys, strings, leads, textures and drums, plus one shots for building kits.
Every loop carries its tempo and follows the project tempo when placed on the timeline, so users can work at one tempo and combine loops from different packs.
Both collections are in the Samples tab of openDAW at https://opendaw.studio, with thanks to Loopmasters and ModeAudio.
One more thing
The new Convolver device let you recreate room reverbs in openDAW. It plays your sound through recordings of real rooms, called impulse responses.
A free, openly licensed collection is included, from the OpenAIR library of the University of York and from Adventure Kid: churches, concert halls, studio rooms and spring reverbs.
And a huge Update on Scripting
The script editor in openDAW received a major update. Scripts can now reach every part of a project, from instruments and effects to notes and automation lanes, with auto-completion for each property. They can also change the project that is currently open, not only build a new one.
