openDAW 1.0 Release Meetup, 3 October in Cologne

A quick reminder that the openDAW 1.0 Release Meetup takes place next Saturday, 3 October 2026 at Studio A, Aachener Str. 65, 50674 Köln. Doors open at 1:00pm. Admission is free, registration is required and seats are limited, so if you have not reserved your spot yet, now is the time.

The afternoon starts with a talk by founder André Michelle, followed by a couch talk and two live acts. openDAW is built with a strong focus on education, so teachers and music educators are very welcome, bring your questions to the couch talk. All talks and panels are held in English.

Ilir Bajri is a Kosovan composer, jazz pianist and creative technologist. His work blends music, innovation and artistic exploration, from composing and performing to developing next-generation virtual instruments.

Kanaris (Kai) is a UK-based IDM producer and multimedia artist whose work spans music, graphic design, graffiti and video art. Inspired by artists like Squarepusher, DJRUM and Skee Mask, Kai creates distinctive electronic music using primarily stock tools.
