On my birthday, I really love a sweet treat. I don’t do much in the way of rituals for anything, and my birthday hasn’t been a special day for me. Except that it’s a special excuse for a sweet treat, like a Michigan Bumpy Cake. Chocolate cake with rows of vanilla cream, covered in chocolate ganache. I don’t need an excuse for chocolate, ever, but I’ll take every single one.
