Announcing Opservatory 2.0, Sync Express and SQS Subscriptions
The newly launched Opservatory is ready to welcome you to its observation deck, plus updates for SQS and Sync Express.

Welcome to a special edition of the Neighbourhoodie Newsletter
We’ve been very busy behind the scenes to bring you three updates on our beloved tools that make working with CouchDB more efficient. We’re proud to announce the launches of Opservatory 2.0 and Sync Express, plus a new and more accessible pricing model for SQS, our CouchDB SQL server.
Neighbourhoodie Updates
Opservatory 2.0
Our beloved CouchDB diagnostics tool recently got more than a new coat of paint. We’ve entirely overhauled the setup process to include a step-by-step wizard and made the navigation clearer and more user-friendly.
Perhaps most exciting will be our new pricing model: Opservatory 2.0 is free to use! All the basics come included, and you only pay for extras as you grow.

Sync Express
It’s here! The nifty Sync Express is a replication manager for CouchDB that makes syncing snappier. Sync thousands of databases in seconds, all the time. It’s exactly what you’ve been looking for if you need a faster way to work with database-per-user, per-time-period setups and 2600Hz Kazoo or other telephony systems.
SQS Subscriptions
In the CouchDB user survey one thing keeps coming back: people miss the ease of SQL queries in CouchDB. Problem fixed! Structured Query Server (SQS) is our SQL server for CouchDB, and we’ve made it available through a much more affordable monthly subscription. Pricing starts at €149 excl. VAT.
