CouchDB 3.5.3 closes multiple security issues: update now

You are receiving this email because you have expressed interest in CouchDB at some point or you are a CouchDB Support customer of Neighbourhoodie. If you are not currently using CouchDB, you can ignore this email.

See https://blog.couchdb.org/2026/10/12/3-5-3/ for details.

CouchDB 3.5.3 includes fixes for multiple security vulnerabilities. The CouchDB team recommends all users to upgrade at their earliest convenience. The nature of the fixes is sever enough that the CouchDB team has put a seven day embargo on the release of the details for these vulnerabilities, so everyone has a chance to upgrade to 3.5.3 before they are made public.

Neighbourhoodie joins the CouchDB team in strongly recommending the update of all CouchDB versions to 3.5.3 at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions or would like any help with the upgrade, please get in touch at [email protected]
