We’re Hosting a CouchDB & PouchDB Hackday
CouchDB events and training options are up ahead in this month’s edition — join us as we host, or meet us we travel to conferences throughout the summer.

It’s going to be a busy summer with events here in Berlin and abroad — but first stop is our office! Catch us in our Neukölln workspace on July 11 to hack the technologies that probably brought us to your inbox, CouchDB and PouchDB.

We’re Hosting a CouchDB & PouchDB Hackday
For all Berliners and anyone planning on attending this year’s Local First Conf, we’re hosting a warm-up hackday where you can get to know others from the conference, plus CouchDB & PouchDB, the premier explorers of sync. We’ll meet at our office to find some time to relax, together.

CouchDB Training
We’ve offered CouchDB training for a while — structured lessons with workshops and quizzes to give teams a deeper understanding of CouchDB and the knowledge to support your use case. We’ve (finally!) gotten around to adding the full syllabus to our website. It covers simple and complex querying, security, design, config, scaling and more.

Our once-off CouchDB Architecture Review helps ensure you’re getting the best out of your technology — and your data.

Berlin Buzzwords
For more than 10 years, Berlin Buzzwords has been Europe’s leading data, search and machine learning open source conference. And the next edition is nearly here: from 7-9 June you can join us in Berlin to catch Jan Lehnardt’s talk on how Neighbourhoodie helped a AAA game publisher reach 10x performance gains on CouchDB.
Past Events
FOSS Backstage
In March Neighbourhoodie’s Jan Lehnardt presented work our team has been doing with the Sovereign Tech Agency to support diverse and crucial open source projects over 2 and a half years. We’ve helped a lot of projects lower their technical debt, and freed up time for core contributors to move their projects ahead.
From the Blog
If you’re more of a reader, find out how we help open source contributors on a project-by-project basis on our blog. We’ve recently added our work with PHP, which was special enough to span two seasons of our writing, plus a post about helping make Reproducible Builds more approachable for new contributors.
Does Your Business Rely on Open Source Tools?
Many of us have crucial dependencies on small, often underfunded, FOSS projects. Neighbourhoodie can help your company identify and improve the projects that are essential to you.

You can be a part of the volunteer team that brings CouchDB and PouchDB to the world!
Use new functions you’ve learned to make documentation additions, put your coding skills first with CouchDB beginner issues or even share your story so new audiences can learn what CouchDB and PouchDB are capable of. We would love to count on your help!
