How do you 'work fast'?

It's very tempting when the pressure is on to RUSH — but rushing leads to mistakes. Sometimes big ones. I remember too many instances where my rushing led to a bug at the 11th hour, resulting in angry clients and uncomfortable calls. I like James's take on this: "You can move fast and be thoughtful. When you rush, you sacrifice thoughtfulness."

Fast also takes prep work. It's one thing to run a course you know well; it's another to try and sprint a course you've never seen before.

Training and thoughtfulness lead to speed.
