Thinking Too Hard 🤔

Every summer I go back through my longstanding editor settings. I call it the 'Summer Purge'. Things that haven't been working for me get cut, and I look for opportunities to improve my setup. Or, as was the case this year, I find things I've horribly misunderstood.

I'll put this all in a post soon, but you know those magical LSP's? (No, not the drug.) Well, in Neovim v0.11, they released an update to how LSPs are integrated, and they also changed how their previously necessary plugin worked.

Turns out for about a year, I had the load order wrong and all my personal overrides were getting deep-merged, but at the BEGINNING of the merge (causing them to mostly get stomped by the defaults). This explains a lot of the weirdness I was seeing! I NOW know the current loading order and have properly applied my customizations.

Is there anything you need to weed through?
