Hello, friend! Thanks for taking a quick gander at my [somewhat inconsistent] newsletter!

Bending News

  • Are you curious about Yoga for Scoliosis? My friend and colleague, Robin Thorpe, and I will be teaching an Intro to Yoga for Scoliosis class on March 7th. Pass this info along to someone you think would benefit from Yoga for Scoliosis! Register Here

  • I teach 3 regular classes a week. Check out my schedule below.

For Evolition Classes, register through Tiffany’s website.

For Living Yoga Classes, register through Living Yoga's website.

For Samamkaya Yoga Classes, register through Samamkaya Yoga's website. I currently don’t have a weekly class but am subbing here and there.

You can always see my upcoming classes here. In addition to my public group classes, I offer private yoga sessions where we can work together one-on-one. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact me.

Mending News

  • Friends, mending is an act of resistance, and I love joining a joyful group at DENVER MENDING CLUB! Leah and I host the group at The Craft Box in Wheat Ridge. Come to our next meeting on Thursday, February 19th! We gather at 6:00pm and stay until 8:30pm, so drop in when you can. Bring a clothing item that needs mending or a patch you've been meaning to sew, and craft alongside other friendly folks! We ask for a $5 entry fee to help pay for rental costs, advertising, and supplies. We advise you to BYO supplies, but we’ll have some mending basics available to use. With this dedicated space, I’ll be bringing my sewing machine to share!

Other News & Musings

  • An intentional 2026: Last month I wrote a little about rituals, and some of you respond with your small important rituals like: making pour over coffee, watering plants and listening to them, and pulling a tarot card. Thank you for responding, and I think I’ve started my morning ritual of drinking my glass of creatine + cherry juice + water immediately followed by my big mug of aeropress coffee. Currently I pair this time with any number of activities (reading, NYT games, crochet, watching YouTube), but I’d like to pair it with 1 activity more intentionally from now on. More on this next month.

One piece of my intentional 2026 is trying to have less screen time. I’ve removed Instagram and Facebook from my phone! Granted, I still installed them on an old phone, you know, for… work. Chat, I just caught myself scrolling on THAT damn phone. It’s a work in progress.

  • Community: I remember moving to Denver after college and searching for community everywhere. I wasn’t close friends with anyone I worked with, and Denver felt so big compared to what I was used to until the age of 21. I wish I could go back and tell myself: stay consistent with those off-hand meetups and reach out to people who enjoy your same hobbies. Now, I host meetups, join all the crafty ones around town I’m able to attend, and promote and talk about all of them as much as I can to whoever will listen.

Speaking of community gatherings, here are a few I love visit:

    • Busy Hands Craft Night at ReCreative. Next date: Friday, February 27th

    • Anything Immy puts together, whether it’s Cook Club or Knitting Meetups, it’s always lovely meeting and getting to know other pals in Denver who found community through one content creator.

    • Crafty A** Shenanigans at Fruits of Our Labor. Big variety of crafty sessions

    • Yarn Crafters Meetup. This friendly group welcomed me with open arms my first and only time attending.

  • Reading: A LOT of Substack. In lieu of scrolling on IG, I’ve been heavily relying on reading essays and articles on Substack. Here are a few of my faves:

    • This thorough article about how to disconnect from big tech. I aspire to complete half of what Derek Beyer did in 2025.

    • Zero Waste Chef - Authored by Anne Marie Bonneau who has massively inspired me over the years to be more environmentally sustainable in my day-to-day.

    • The People’s Mending - Authored by Jeanna Wigger who co-wrote a perfect mending book, Stitch It, Don't Ditch It and who created the Winter of Care and Repair.

    • The Black Butter Club - Authored by Sam Cooper who wrote a fermentation book I adore.

Watching: Fallout, the TV show. I remember watching Mark play the Fallout video games years ago and being fairly intrigued about the story. They’ve taken it to the small screen with a TV series, and we finished Season 1 last week. I like alternate timeline stories, and the combo of nostalgic 50’s/60’s style plus nuclear fallout is endearing… as endearing as a violent story about world-ending capitalism can be. It’s funny, it’s sad, it’s gross… and HOW IS IT that this apocalyptic western which condemns capitalism streams on Amazon Prime?? Fortunately the first season was available through my local library.

Please enjoy my cats on the bed today, soaking up the sun and stubbornly resting on the unfolded laundry.

Thanks for sticking around, and I hope you take good care.
