it’s Dorit here - We still don’t have any firm moving dates to share, but we have been in talks with GreenSquareAccord and we are very hopeful that we will be moving in very soon.

There is still a big uncertainty about the sale of the building and land to the Stirchley Co-operative Development with many meetings and actions happening in the background.

Please read the article in the Guardian that has been released last week and share it with people.

If you want to help the SCD have another look here and reach out (again!) to organisations and politicians like Richard Parker, who might be able to influence an outcome that means safety, control and ownership of the building for the people who have been working hard, investing their time and money over ten years on this project (their future workspaces, homes and a hub for Stirchley and the wider community).

📣📣📣 Loaf stall at CocoMAD on Saturday 📣📣📣

The lovely people from Friends of Cotteridge Park are organising the famous CocoMAD Festival on Saturday July 4th. The music at the main stage will start at 12pm and that will be the time we are all set up as well. Have a look at the schedule and performers for the day or get a print of the program from Deadbeat!

CocoMAD is a festival of music, art, dance, science, circus, food and celebration that started it’s life as a thank you to the local community back in 1997. And like then it is today still free for everyone to attend. Without donations this would not be possible, so please consider giving a donation to make sure they can keep it running!

🚀 Fliss, one of our members is a very talented musician and will be with her intergalactic band Diddy Sweg on the main stage from 3pm! I’ve seen them a few months ago at the Hare&Hounds and honestly you don’t wanna miss this show! 🚀

The Loaf pop-up with Anosh will be open from 11 till 3pm as usual on Saturdays. Like last week we will have to focus on baking for the stall, but we will still have pre-orders and extra loafs and buns available at Deadbeat.

Please pre-order bread and buns for Saturday (or any day this week) so you avoid disappointment.

🧀 🍷Loaf stall at Grace & James on Sunday 🥖

Apologies about the short notice cancellation for last Sunday, but we had to post-pone our pop up for a week. Now you will find us on Sunday July 5th from 12pm in 23 York Road at Grace & James, which is a neighbourhood wine bar, deli and cheesemonger in Kings Heath. For your coffee needs they have Alistair running his coffee bar Flock in another corner of the same building.

➡️ Click HERE to pre-order bread and buns for Wednesday till Saturday. If you don’t want to pre-order that’s alright, we always have more to sell, but we try not to let anything go to waste, so pre-orders are very helpful.

➡️ Cut-off time for all pre-orders is 11am on the day before pick up!
