Loaf Newsletter 22/06/26 - Aircon at Breadbeat and two stalls from Loaf at the weekend!
Hello everyone,
it’s Dorit here. We don’t have any updates to share from the new building yet, but we keep going and hopes up to finally move in July in our permanent home. In the meantime you can watch a video clip with interviews from Rach and SCD house members that was aired last week.

It’s getting HOT this week, so we will change our lunch menu a bit (no Daal on Wednesday - apologies!) and adapt our baking schedule a little bit, but we will definitely be open as usual - there is an amazing air-con at Deadbeat and we think it’s one of the best places to be with an iced coffee from Anosh and a sweet treat from us.
You can find the Loaf Pop-Up with a range of bread, rolls, sweet and savoury buns, cakes and lunches at Deadbeat with Anosh 1473-1475 Pershore Road, Birmingham B30 2NT:
🟢 Wednesday 24th June 12-3pm
🟢 Thursday 25th June 12-3pm
🟢 Friday 26th June 12-3pm
🟢 Saturday 27th June 11am-3pm (strong reduced amounts, because we are running a stall at Stirchley Community Market)
Two Loaf stalls this weekend!
🟡 Saturday 27th June 10am-3pm Market stall at the Stirchley Community Market
🟡 Sunday 28th June 11am-3pm Stall at Grace & James in Kings Heath

📣📣📣 Loaf will be running two stalls this weekend! 📣📣📣
🥳🥖 Number one is at the Stirchley Community Market (it’s their 15th birthday 🥳) in the Stirchley Baths on Saturday June 27th from 10-3pm. We will be open at Anosh from 11 till 3pm on Saturday as well and will be baking extra cakes and cookies for the weekend, but because of our more limited capacities that we can bake at the moment, we have decided to focus on the market stalls and ask you to pre-order bread and pastries for Saturday (or any day this week) for a pick up at our pop-up at Deadbeat so you avoid disappointment.

There will be plenty different stalls in and outside of the Stirchley Baths celebrating 15 years of community, creativity, and connection even with a limited-edition commemorative Pale Ale from Infinity Brewing Co. The Loaf stall will be outside.
🥖 🧀 🍷Stall number two is a new one on our list of heroic supporters - Grace & James in Kings Heath have kindly accepted our request of a pop-up and will host us on Sunday June 28th from 11-3pm in 23 York Road. Grace & James are a neighbourhood wine bar, deli and cheesemonger. Exactly those things which go well with bread, right? And if you fancy a coffee you can find Alasdair running his coffee bar Flock tucked away in another corner of the building.
As usual we will be selling sourdoughs, sweet and savoury treats, so come and say hi then!

Thanks so much to STEAMHOUSE for their continued support in letting us use a corner of their bakery in Redditch - we honestly do not know what we would have done without their generosity.
