Happy Labor Day weekend! I’ve got a little batch of tree frog pieces coming to the shop on Sunday at noon Pacific.

Three mugs…

one planter with double the usual amount of frog…

and the first teapot I’ve ever made that was good enough to fire and put in the shop (I’m very picky about teapot shapes). On this one, the frog is joined by a beetle and some shelf fungus to round out the scene.

Meanwhile, work continues for the November show. A lot of these pieces will have a cold finish rather than glaze, so I can be found covered in paint more often than not lately.
