Flagship programming

The View from Tacoma is our weekly discussion show with Radio Tacoma board members Pam Beal, Louisa Beal, Marilyn Kimmerling, and Malakay Betor that airs at noon and 5pm on TTHSAT. We talk about all things Tacoma, with a focus on local issues, arts, and events, and we share books we love, walks we love, and our own programming that we love! 

Community

One of our new shows we love is My Tacoma with local photographer Davis Freeman, which airs on Mondays and Fridays at 7pm. In the most recent episode, Davis talks with Dean Burke and Jillian Nettles, who capture ethereal underwater art, most recently at Owen Beach. Dean has been photographing the Salish Sea for the past decade, and Jillian is a model and artist who does underwater performance art, aka underwater dancing.

Conversation

Another new show we love is the podcast Coming from Left Field with Pat Cummings and Greg Godels. Pat lives in Ruston and Greg is in Pittsburgh, and in a recent episode Pam talked with them about the "Low Power FM Media Revolution".
