Music and Interview!
Radio Tacoma recently conducted an interview with Cassio Vianna, Director of Jazz Studies at Pacific Lutheran University, about his life and music.

The Cassio Vianna Jazz Orchestra has two big band albums that we are currently airing, Infancia and Vida, which includes "Flight 962”, which was nominated for a Latin Grammy.

We are also airing an earlier jazz song cycle called Letters to Grace. You can listen anytime to the Artist Spotlight with Cassio Vianna interview on our newly reconstructed website archive. You can find out more about Cassio and his music at the Cassio Vianna website.
More Music
Please note that many wonderful blues recordings from 1930 and before are now in the public domain, and we are currently airing the music of such amazing artists as Ma Rainey and Bessie Smith! Tune in and listen!
