Google: best AI model at 53%, biggest company at 1.3%
Monday, November 2, 2026 · Edition 1
Google is the puzzle of the day. The board gives it a coin-flip shot at the best AI model by year-end but only a 1.3% chance of being the most valuable company on the same date. Winning the race and winning the scoreboard are, apparently, two different questions. Elsewhere, two AI valuation markets pull in opposite directions, and the Fed is quietly softening.
⚙️ Tech
Will Google have the best AI model at the end of December 2026?
At 53%, Google topping the Chatbot Arena leaderboard by year-end is up from 40% a month ago, the second-biggest move on the board. A coin flip, slightly tilted toward the incumbent. The interesting part sits one market over: the same name prices at just 1.3% to be the world's most valuable company on December 31. Best model, not best cap. The board separates the two cleanly.
Will Alphabet be the largest company in the world by market cap on December 31?
1.3%, and down 3 points in a month. On its own, a dead market. Paired with the AI-leadership question at 53%, it becomes the edition's cleanest split: the board leans toward Google holding the top model while treating its claim to the market-cap crown as nearly hopeless. Technical leadership and the biggest valuation are not, in this pricing, the same prize.
Will Anthropic IPO by December 31, 2026?
93%, up roughly 10 points in a month (the fourth-largest mover on the board). The listing is heavily favored. The valuation, less so: the companion market gives only a 30.5% chance of Anthropic landing in the $1.75T to $2T band. So the board is nearly sure Anthropic goes public and genuinely unsure what it is worth when it does. The "if" is close to settled; the "how much" is wide open.
💵 Macro
Will the Fed increase interest rates by 25 bps after the December 2026 meeting?
70.5%, slipping from 76.5% since we last looked at it. A 6-point walk-back on the second-most-traded market on the board. A December hike is still the favored outcome, but the margin is thinner than it was, and this is the board's most liquid read on where the Fed lands into year-end. The hawkish lean is fading, not breaking.
📈 Crypto
Predict.fun FDV above $800M one day after launch?
81.5%, and the biggest mover on the entire board, up 40 points in a month. A prediction-market platform's own governance token is being priced, on a prediction market, to launch above an $800M fully diluted valuation. The self-reference is the point: the venue hosting the bet is also the asset. The board heavily favors the launch clearing the bar.
Will Ethereum dip to $1,700 in November?
13.5%, unchanged on the month, on volume running 7x its weekly average. The number has not moved; the activity around it has. The board leans hard against a deep November drawdown for ETH even as trading in the question jumps. A flat price with a loud tape is its own kind of signal: the conviction held while the interest spiked.
The board can love Google's models and shrug at its market cap in the same breath, and be sure Anthropic lists without agreeing on the sticker. Year-end is where certainty about the "whether" meets open questions about the "how much."
