Apple and NVIDIA both claim the crown at 52%

Friday, October 30, 2026 · Edition 1

Two of today's markets hand the same crown to different kings: Apple leads the "largest company" race at 51.7% for October 31, while NVIDIA leads the December version at 53%. Both are near coin-flips, both are slight favorites, and they cannot both keep the title. Meanwhile peace looks nearly settled and oil refuses to agree.

⚙️ Tech

Will Anthropic have the best AI model at the end of October 2026?

At 0.4%, this is the biggest mover on the entire board, down 87 points in a month. Whatever claim Anthropic had on the top leaderboard slot heading into the October 31 resolution has evaporated to near-zero. A month ago it was a long shot at 2.6%. Now it is priced as all but ruled out, and the board has effectively handed the arena to someone else.

Will NVIDIA be the largest company in the world by market cap on December 31?

NVIDIA sits at 53% for the year-end crown, the second-biggest mover on the board after shedding 26.5 points in a month. Compare that to Apple at 51.7% for October 31, barely two months earlier, with zero movement. The December favorite is falling fast toward the October favorite that hasn't budged. The crown is contested, and today's volume ran 5.7x this market's weekly average.

Will Apple be the largest company in the world by market cap on October 31, 2026?

Apple at 51.7% is the flat line in a noisy set: no monthly move at all, dead last for repricing across 28 markets. Everything else on the board is swinging while the October crown stays a coin-flip. Trading today ran 2.9x its weekly average on a number that hasn't moved, which is its own kind of signal.

Will Anthropic IPO by November 15, 2026?

At 1.8%, a November IPO is priced as all but off the table, down 24.75 points in a month and the fourth-biggest mover on the board. But the story hasn't collapsed, it has stretched: the longer-dated $1.5T-$1.75T IPO valuation bracket has climbed to 22.8%, up 17 points. The timeline slips out as the price target creeps up.

🌍 Geopolitics

Israel x Iran ceasefire continues through October 31?

The ceasefire holding is priced at 96.5%, up 25.45 points in a month and the third-biggest mover on the board. That is near-certainty on peace. Hold that thought against the oil market below, which gives WTI touching $105 a 48% shot. One market treats the regional trigger as contained; the other keeps pricing the supply shock anyway.

NATO x Russia military clash by October 31, 2026?

At 0.8%, a NATO-Russia clash before month-end is priced as all but ruled out, down 13.7 points in a month. What earns its place is the flow: this is the single most-traded market on the board. The most-watched geopolitical question of the set is the one the board has nearly closed the book on.

💵 Macro

Will WTI Crude Oil (WTI) hit (HIGH) $105 in October?

WTI touching $105 sits at 48%, up 22.5 points in a month and the fifth-biggest mover on the board, with volume running 2.8x its weekly average. Set that beside the 96.5% ceasefire. If the regional trigger is nearly resolved, crude is still pricing a near coin-flip on a supply spike. The two numbers describe different worlds.

→ Polymarket

The board can't agree on who wears the crown or what oil costs, but it has made up its mind on war: nearly none, nearly everywhere. Peace is the one thing priced like a fact.
