First, I owe you an apology.

If you've been wondering where the Cozy Chaos Newsletter disappeared to over the last couple of months...well, life happened.

Between my husband being away for military training, balancing my private therapy practice, and trying to keep up with the beautiful chaos that comes with two little kids, something had to give. Unfortunately, my newsletter ended up on the back burner.

Thank you for sticking around anyway.

Now for the exciting part...

Whole Heart is Finished!

After months of writing (and what felt like an endless supply of coffee), Whole Heart is officially complete at around 100,000 words. The editing proof is about 406 pages as a 5x8 book, so it's just a little longer than Half Breed

I'm currently working through my first round of edits before it heads out to my incredible beta readers (Street team MVPs!). Editing is a completely different beast than drafting, but I'm honestly having fun getting to spend more time with Kenna and Killian before they make their way into your hands.

Seeing the story finally exist as a complete book still doesn't feel real.

Whole Heart is planned to be released in Spring of 2027. When I have an exact date, I'll definitely let you know!

Cover Updates

One of the things I'm most excited about is that Donn, the artist behind the Half Breed cover, is returning for Whole Heart.

The goal is for the two books to feel like they belong together on your shelf. Without giving too much away, we're planning to mirror the first cover with a design that reflects Killian's journey this time around.

I'm also commissioning new artwork for the sequel, and I cannot wait until I can start sharing some sneak peeks with all of you!

A Little Treat!

Since you've patiently waited through my accidental newsletter hiatus, I thought I'd leave you with the tentative blurb for Whole Heart.

What Else I've Been Up To

I have started writing another book. Because apparently I'm insane. This one is a romantic Sci-Fi space opera and will feature a military Veteran space pilot and a farm girl from Earth. It will also be dual POV, which is apparently my style.

It may be a completely different genre, but the emotional core is still the same. Two people healing from trauma and finding love along the way.
