Okay, there's still a few rough edges, but I've finally got my game engine building for the web, so I actually have something to share this month. It's a very simple audiovisual musical instrument. I ran out of time so it doesn't handle polyphony very well, but I like how the visuals turned out.

Inspired by the visuals for this Hibushibire track.

The download includes a web build which should run on any browser and any OS (note: I've only tested it on firefox so far). I also included a Linux AppImage if you're on Linux; the only difference is that it responds to MIDI input in addition to keyboard input.

Now that I can build for the web I'm also going to experiment with hosting it on my site. I'm a little wary of bandwidth usage though, so this is an experiment for the time being. I might delete it before the end of the month if the bandwidth gets out of hand:
