Hi Everyone! Today we have two new reports that resulted from user requests update, search, and a new module!

Licensing: Business Revenue Trends Report

This new report lets you take a look at the overall and sector-specific health of your business community:

The report shows the aggregate reported revenue by businesses year over year. You can look at the overall trends, and also narrow it down by inside/outside businesses and by NAICS

Permitting: Square Footage Report

Our permitting users also wanted to get a deeper dive into the trends affecting them. This new report takes a look at Monthly trends in square footage being applied for in permits:

It lets you split out between commercial and residential permits.

Updated Search

We’ve updated search again! The last update was a lot faster but wasn’t as flexible as the slower version we’ve had for years. This new version is even faster and our tests have found it to be a much better at working around alternate spellings. One more long-requested improvement for our licensing folks: the search now by default only shows active businesses, so your first five results in the type-ahead search bar are even more useful! If you hit <enter> after search, the full-page results will still show the inactive businesses as well.

New Module: Meeting Management!

We’re excited to announce we’ve launched a new module to help make it easier to manage your public meetings!

You can get more details on our website, but a few of the highlights are:

• Departments can submit items to the system via email. You can then approve or reject those requests and then track your resolutions and ordinances from meeting to meeting.

• Save time building your agenda using a template and post them to the website.

• At meeting time, the system automatically creates a slideshow for use in the meeting.

• Manage your committee members and nominees, in the application
