Something I think is really cool
Hi friends,
Something I think is really cool is getting to witness how God meets us.
(Side note: if the word God doesn’t resonate, please replace it. Higher Self, the Divine, Mother Earth, Love—however you want to name what’s Holy).
Ok, so back to what’s cool…
What’s cool is getting to see and experience how God shows up for us—even when we don’t think God will show up for us. Even when we are ye of little faith. 😂
What I mean by this is that I often invite people to bring a question to God and listen for God’s response.
Sometimes people don’t think they’re going to get anything. Sometimes I even doubt that they will get anything.
And though I don't want to put any pressure on it, honestly, I think it’s 100% of the time: people sense something from God.
This part of my work really excites me. And every time I get to see it happen, it builds my trust in God.
And maybe the coolest part about all of this is that you don’t need me to be with you to reach out to God. Although it can be helpful to have someone hold space with you.
You can ask God all day, every day, for help.
In fact, personally, it’s something I’m trying to do more and more (instead of trying to muscle through everything on my own).
I also want to remind you that I’ve created a new space called The Listening Room for us to listen for God together.
The first one is Sunday, August 30th from 7–8 pm. It’s virtual, and I’d love to see you there.
