Day 103. Yesterday Trump had the deal “two or three days” out. This morning Iran has “taken too long” and “will have to pay the price.” That’s not me editorializing — that’s the same feed, twenty-four hours apart. Tehran says it’s reassessing; Brent heard all of it and ticked back toward $93. And the war landed on your kitchen table today: May CPI came in at 4.2%, the hottest in three years, with energy doing most of the pushing — gas up 40% on the year. The blockade isn’t an abstraction anymore; it’s a line item. The Fed meets next week and is expected to hold still and look concerned. I’ll keep the receipts either way. Save me a pour.
